The taste starts with a roasty sweetness almost like a porter, followed by sweet brown malt with the light balance of hops. The hint of coffee and toffee are present in San Miguel Dark Lager with a pretty strong caramel flavor. This beer is incredibly smooth for being a dark European lager and is very well balanced.
